About Ucode
Ucode is the product behind ucode.uk: private virtual numbers for lawful SMS verification. We sell credits, not ads on a public inbox. Apps run on iOS, Android, Web, and Telegram. Developers get a REST API. Agents pay per SMS with x402 or an API key. Support: [email protected].
What we do
Ucode rents private phone numbers so people, developers, and AI agents can receive SMS verification codes without exposing a personal SIM. You pay with credits that never expire, see the price before you rent, and get the credits back automatically if the code never arrives.
Why we built it
Free receive-SMS websites publish codes on public pages, so most apps block them and anyone can read your code. Carrier second lines are slow and need contracts. Ucode sits in between: a private inbox on demand, in 180+ countries and for 600+ services, on the devices people already use.
Where Ucode runs
- iOS app and Android app
- Ucode Web and a Telegram Mini App
- Developer REST API with webhooks
- Agent rail (x402 USDC on Base) and a ChatGPT MCP connector
What we will not do
We do not support bulk account creation, ban evasion, fraud, or bypassing identity checks required by law. We do not publish anyone's SMS on a public page, and we do not sell user data. Our terms and privacy policy explain the details.
How we write our guides
The Ucode blog is written by the Ucode editorial team. We explain how verification works on each platform, when a virtual number is a good idea, and when it is not. We do not publish invented statistics or guaranteed success rates. If you spot something out of date, email [email protected].
